The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) is a Federal law that protects the privacy of student education records, and outlines what can and cannot be shared without a student’s consent. It is important to know that parents, guardians, and other family members are not automatically able to access your information, including financial records. At New Student Advising Day, you will be asked to provide a release to individuals who you would like to be able to access your information. For more information, please see LVC’s FERPA policy and FAQ’s.
New Students…you have your first “assignment!” Visit the To Do Before NSAD page to get started.
“Dutchmen Day is one of the events on campus that makes our school special,” said Mike Mellon ’13, president of Student Government. “The buzz and gossip surrounding the day makes it just that much more satisfying when it arrives. We as the planning committee thoroughly enjoy watching all of our hard work pay off when the surprise is finally revealed. The tradition is paradoxical since everyone simply wants to know the date for the event but, if we told everyone, he event would be ruined.” Read more.

Lebanon Valley College welcomed accepted students to campus this past Saturday for an exciting day of meet and greets! Everyone was present: from faculty, to administrators, coaches, and even current students – all to chat and interact with accepted students as the May 1 decision deadline draws near. Students tweeted their LVC Live pictures and Emily G. was chosen as best twitter pic of the day. Check it out! Review all the photos by following us @LVC, and join the conversation using #LVC2017!
